How to edit contents of the default Proofpoint Essentials notification emails.

Channel Admins and Organization Admins can change the contents of the default Proofpoint Essentials notifications emails as they would desire to be. These notifications emails are user’s “Welcome”, “Password Reset" and “Digest”.

Channel Admins:

  1. Log into the Proofpoint Essentials user interface with your Channel Admin login credential.
  2. Customers menu and select the customer account that you would like to setup.
  3. Company Settings menu.
  4. Notifications tab.
  5. All Languages drop down list.
  6. Welcome, Password Reset, Digest, this action would bring that particular template’s edit page.
  7. Apply button available in the sections where you have made changes.
  8. Save button.

 Organisation Admins:

  1. Log into the Proofpoint Essentials user interface with your Organisation Admin login credential
  2. Company Settings menu.
  3. Notifications tab.
  4. All Languages drop down list.
  5. Welcome, Password Reset, Digest, this action would bring that particular template’s edit page.
  6. Apply button available in the sections where you have made changes.
  7. Save button.

After you finish changing the contents, you can verify the changes within the template by clicking on Preview icon.

Note: It is possible to restore the Saved changes back to the system default by clicking on Restore icon provided just before preview button.
