Why are emails with javascript (.js) attachments being blocked?

Although Proofpoint by default quarantines emails with a Javascript (.js) attachment you can override this by creating a filter as shown below below:

If Recipient Address IS (you can add multiples and separate with comma or semi-colon)
And Attachment Name IS *.js
Do Allow


Please ensure the attachment is legitimate before attempting to open it.
